Metallica Sphere Residency 2027 Dates in Las Vegas

The residency is called Life Burns Faster. It runs from October 1, 2026 through March 13, 2027 at the Sphere in Las Vegas. Every show is on a Thursday or a Saturday.

Here are the 12 shows in 2027:

• January: 28 and 30
• February: 4, 6, 18, 20, 25 and 27
• March: 4, 6, 11 and 13

The other 12 shows are in 2026: October 1, 3, 8, 10, 15, 17, 22, 24, 29 and 31, plus November 5 and 7.

How Many Metallica Sphere Shows Are Left?

Counting tonight, 16 shows remain. That's October 29 and 31, November 5 and 7, and all 12 shows in 2027.

Are Metallica Sphere Tickets Sold Out?

Sold out or close to it. A Billboard ticket guide says many dates have sold out or are nearly there. We haven't checked each date, so look at Ticketmaster for the show you want.

The general on-sale for the added dates was Friday, March 6, at 10 a.m. PT through Ticketmaster. Fan club presales began March 4.  All of those on-sales are over now.

That leaves resale. Billboard lists resale tickets from around $755. One report said prices climbed above $3,000 amid presale complaints.

A "Royal Flush" ticket for all 2027 shows and Vibee travel packages were also offered. Compare prices before you buy, and stick to official sellers.

Why Did Metallica Keep Adding Sphere Shows?

The run started with just 8 shows. It grew in stages to 14, then 20, then 24.

Metallica said in a March 10 Instagram message that the 24 shows are "all… for now." Reports say no more dates are being added "at this point in time." So 24 is the number to plan around.

What Is Metallica's No Repeat Weekend?

It's the format for the whole run. Each week has a Thursday and a Saturday show, and the two nights have different setlists. No song is played twice in the same week.
