October 3: The Title Reveal at Paris Fashion Week

The next day, Offset revealed the title during Paris Fashion Week. GMFU stands for Got Me Fucked Up.

So by October 3, fans had a title and a date.

October 23: No Album at Midnight

On October 9, Offset dropped "Every Night" with Don Toliver. It samples Jodeci's 1995 song "Freek'n You."

Jaasu produced it, and Mikey Rare and SheShe Pendleton directed the video. It's the third Offset and Don Toliver song, after "Had Enough" (2019) and "WORTH IT" (2023).

Then came October 23. The album did not appear on streaming services at midnight, and no reason was given.

The Studio Footage Post and the New Date

Later on Friday, October 23, Offset posted studio footage with OsamaSon and ApolloRed1. He said the album is now coming November 13.

Why Any Reason for the Delay Is Speculation

No reason has been given for the delay. Offset's GMFU missed its October 23, 2026 date and did not appear on streaming services at midnight. The new date is November 13, and any explanation for the wait is only a guess.

While you wait, you can play his songs in the free VibeSynced visualizer.
