What Time Is the Super Bowl LXI Halftime Show?
The game is on Sunday, February 14, 2027. The NFL hasn't shared a kickoff time or a halftime time yet.
Halftime comes midway through the game, so the show will start after the first two quarters. We'll know more once the league sets the schedule.
How to Watch the Jay-Z Halftime Show
The game and the halftime show will air on ESPN, ABC and Disney+. If you're on your phone, you can also watch with NFL+.
The news came during the Cowboys-Eagles Monday Night Football game on ESPN. The announcement video was black and white and showed Jay-Z in the stands.
Who Is Performing With Jay-Z at Super Bowl LXI?
So far, only Jay-Z has been named. No guests have been announced, so anyone you see listed elsewhere is a rumor.
Apple Music sponsors the halftime show. It was also a fairly open secret: Puck and Deadline reported on October 20 that he would headline, six days before the NFL confirmed it.
Betting sites had him in front too. As of late August, Jay-Z led the halftime odds at 51% on Kalshi, a site where people bet on outcomes. Justin Bieber and Miley Cyrus were behind him.
What Could Jay-Z Play at Halftime?
No setlist has been released. These are just guesses.
We think he'll lean on his biggest crowd songs, like "Empire State of Mind" and "99 Problems." We also think the show will feel close to his recent stadium shows, because he just played this exact venue.

Why Is This Jay-Z's First Super Bowl Performance?
This is the part that makes it a big deal. Roc Nation, Jay-Z's entertainment company, has produced the halftime show since 2019. The partnership was renewed in 2024 for another 5 years.
He has been tied to the league all that time, yet he has never taken the stage himself.
His last JAY-Z30 tour shows were on October 23 and 24 at SoFi Stadium, the same stadium that will host the Super Bowl. He wrapped up there a few days before the announcement.
