The EDM festivals 2027 calendar is filling up, and 3 big changes stand out. EDC Las Vegas is going to 2 weekends, A State of Trance is bringing its first 2-day US festival to Los Angeles, and EDSea is sailing again after skipping 2026. Here's the month-by-month schedule, what's confirmed, and where you might want to go.

What Is the EDM Festivals 2027 Schedule?

Here's the quick version, in date order. Items marked "expected" or "listed" are not officially confirmed.

Which EDM Festivals Start 2027 in January and February?

EDSea: January 26-31

EDSea is back after a year off. The 2027 trip runs January 26-31, sailing from Miami to Harvest Caye, Belize, on the Norwegian Joy. The 2026 edition was skipped.

The themes are Rainbow Road, Groovy 'Toons, Electric Circus and Hot Tropic. No lineup is listed in our research yet.

EDC Mexico: February 19-21

EDC Mexico is listed for February 19-21 in Mexico City. That date comes from a festival listing site, not from the organizers, so double-check before you book travel.

How Do Ultra Miami and Tomorrowland Winter Fit Into March?

March is busy. Tomorrowland Winter runs March 20-27 at Alpe d'Huez in the French Alps. That's the pick if you want an EDM festival in Europe with snow.

Ultra Miami returns to Bayfront Park on March 26-28, 2027. The Phase 1 lineup has 25+ acts, including Calvin Harris, Dom Dolla, Indira Paganotto, Martin Garrix, Mau P and Armin van Buuren. More names should come, but no full lineup is out yet.

Is EDC Las Vegas 2027 Really Two Weekends?

Yes. EDC Las Vegas 2027 expands to 2 weekends at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. EDC Dusk is May 14-16, and EDC Dawn is May 21-23.

Insomniac is calling the whole thing "Dusk Till Dawn," and it runs about 12 days. Sources disagree on the start: some say May 13, others May 14. The end date is May 24. We trust the official weekend dates above.

The lineup has not been announced. We'll update this post when it is.

When Is A State of Trance in Los Angeles?

A State of Trance will hold its first 2-day US festival on June 11-12, 2027, at ACE*MISSION Studios in Los Angeles. If you're looking for EDM festivals in California in 2027, this is the new one.

Armin van Buuren revealed the plan on October 8, 2026, at a pop-up event in Downtown LA. In March 2026, he told DJ Mag he wanted a full multi-stage US festival, not just a single stage. No lineup has been announced yet.

What Do We Know About Tomorrowland in Belgium and Las Vegas?

Nothing about the main Tomorrowland dates is official yet. Third-party sites expect 2 July weekends, about July 16-18 and 23-25. One site gives slightly different dates (July 16-19 and 24-26), so treat all of them as guesses until Tomorrowland confirms.

There's also a report that Tomorrowland is heading to Las Vegas in 2027. Organizers have shared no dates or venue. Consider it a rumor for now.

Which EDM Festival Should You Pick in 2027?

These are our picks, not confirmed plans. Nobody has announced full lineups for most of these festivals.
