The SZA Coachella 2027 headline buzz is everywhere, but only part of it is confirmed. She seemingly confirmed it on Instagram and TMZ reported it, yet Coachella has announced nothing. Here's what is confirmed, what is reported, and what nobody has said.

Is SZA Headlining Coachella 2027? What We Know

Not officially yet. SZA seemingly confirmed it indirectly with an Instagram post, and TMZ reported she will headline. But Coachella and Goldenvoice have announced nothing, and no announcement date has been given. So treat it as likely, but not final until they say so.

Some outlets say all three headliners are "announced." That's wrong. Consequence, KESQ and Rolling Out all describe a report, not an announcement.

What SZA's Instagram Caption Actually Says

The post was on SZA's alternate Instagram account. She shared a screenshot of the TMZ report about the Coachella 2027 headliners.

Her caption begins, "Headed to Tahiti to work this album some more." It also mentions "big decisions."

She never wrote the word "Coachella" in the part we can confirm. That's why Consequence calls it a "seemingly" confirmation: sharing the report is a hint, not a statement.

What TMZ Reported and Who Else It Names

TMZ says SZA will headline Coachella 2027 alongside Dua Lipa and Tame Impala. The report cites unnamed sources.

Before the report, prediction markets listed Tame Impala and Dua Lipa as the leaders. Those odds are guesses, not facts, but they match what TMZ says.

What Coachella and Goldenvoice Have Not Announced

Coachella and Goldenvoice have not announced any 2027 performers. They haven't given a date for the lineup reveal either.

That means no headliner is official, including SZA. Until the festival posts its poster, treat any "confirmed lineup" claim as fake.

Coachella 2027 Dates and Location

The festival is slated for two weekends at the same site.

Where SZA's Next Album Stands Since SOS

SZA's last studio album, SOS, came out in 2022. That's about 4 years without a new one.

No title or release date has been announced for the next album. Her only public hint is the Tahiti caption.

Older reports disagree on timing, and none is official. All we can say is that the album is in progress.

SZA Songs to Play While You Wait

"Saturn" just passed 800 million Spotify streams. It's her 10th song to reach that mark.

"Kill Bill" gave her a first No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 in April 2023, after a remix with Doja Cat.

Has Coachella officially announced the 2027 lineup?

No. Coachella and Goldenvoice haven't announced any 2027 performers or given a date for the announcement.

Why did SZA post on her alternate Instagram account?

She hasn't said. She shared a screenshot of the TMZ report there instead of making a formal announcement, which is why it counts only as an indirect confirmation.

TMZ names Dua Lipa and Tame Impala. That's a report from unnamed sources, not an official lineup.

Has SZA announced a title or release date for her next album?
