Kodak Black GTA 6 NPC: What Is Reported

The Kodak Black GTA 6 NPC report comes from Yahoo News, but Rockstar hasn't confirmed a role. A new screenshot shows a character model that outlets say is him. Here's what each outlet says, what Rockstar hasn't shared, and which songs to play now.

Will Kodak Black Be an NPC in GTA 6?

Yahoo News reports Kodak Black will appear in GTA 6 as a non-playable character (NPC). Rockstar hasn't confirmed a role for him yet.

An NPC is a character in the game world that you don't control. Think of the people walking the streets or talking to you.

What Yahoo News Reports

Yahoo News reports that Kodak Black will reportedly appear in the game as an NPC. That's the clearest version of the claim we found.

What HotNewHipHop Says About the Screenshot

Rockstar released new GTA VI screenshots in early November 2026. One shows a character model that outlets say is Kodak Black, judging by his hair, face and tattoos.

HotNewHipHop's November 5, 2026 article doesn't say whether he is an NPC. It also notes that details are sparse.

So the two outlets don't say the same thing. Yahoo gives a role, and HotNewHipHop points to a look.

What Rockstar Has Not Shared

Rockstar hasn't shared details on his character or any missions. It also hasn't said anything about voice acting.

That means a speaking role is unconfirmed. Per HipHopWired, the studio has said nothing on those points.

How to Tell Confirmed Details From Rumor

Some social posts call him "officially" an NPC. The outlets that have the screenshot, HotNewHipHop and HipHopWired, say Rockstar hasn't described his role.

We trust the outlets, so we're calling it "reported." Here's how it sorts out.

Confirmed: Kodak Black and Sexyy Red are part of GTA 6's music, and the extended look featured tracks from both.
Confirmed: the game is set in Leonida, Rockstar's version of Florida. That's Kodak's home state.
Reported: he appears as an NPC.
Not confirmed: which Kodak Black songs will be in the game.

Rockstar told Dazed: "We love Miami music, particularly Miami bass, going through to more recent Miami artists like Kodak Black and Sexyy Red." That backs up the music link, not the NPC claim.

The Trailer Lookalike That Fans Compared to Kodak and 21 Savage

Before the screenshot, fans compared a rapper-style NPC in the first trailer to Kodak Black. Others said it looked like 21 Savage.

That was speculation. Early coverage from Prima and Sportskeeda called it a fan theory and said no NPC was confirmed.

That coverage came before the screenshot, so the newer reports carry more weight. Still, none of it is a Rockstar statement.

One fun detail: Kodak reportedly used to play GTA RP. He also reportedly had his own RP server called Project Baby RP.

Songs to Play While You Wait for More Details

No one knows yet which of his songs will be in the game. These two are good starting points anyway.

"ZEZE" (with Travis Scott and Offset): debuted at No. 1 on Billboard's Streaming Songs chart with 47.6 million streams.
"Tunnel Vision": peaked at No. 6 on the Hot 100 in 2017. It's his highest-charting solo song.

Those are chart numbers, not lifetime streams. They show how big each song was at its peak.

You can play both in the free VibeSynced visualizer before the game drops on November 19.
