Gorillaz Oakland Arena Concert Recap: 2 Openers, 3 Songs

Gorillaz played Oakland Arena on Wednesday, October 28, 2026. Here's who opened, what the tour usually plays, and what's still unconfirmed.

How Did Gorillaz Get to Oakland Arena?

The show was part of The Mountain Tour. It supports the album The Mountain, which came out worldwide on February 27, 2026.

The tour has 70 shows in five legs. It started March 20, 2026 in Manchester and ends January 31, 2027 in Guwahati, India.

Oakland has waited a while for this one. Gorillaz last played the city at Oracle Arena on October 30, 2010, almost 16 years ago.

As of October 29, setlist.fm showed no list for the Oakland show. That means the song order and any guests are not confirmed.

Here's what the tour usually plays. Treat it as typical, not as Oakland's list.

New songs first: tour setlists open with songs from The Mountain, such as "The Mountain," "The Happy Dictator," and "Tranz."
Older hits: "Feel Good Inc." with Posdnuos and "Clint Eastwood" with Del the Funky Homosapien appear on the tour's featured setlist.
Guests: they change by city. Sparks joined "The Happy Dictator" at the London and Inglewood shows.
More guests: Yasiin Bey and Omar Souleyman have appeared on "Stylo" and "Damascus" at some shows.

Whether Oakland got a guest is unconfirmed. We'll update this post once setlist.fm posts the real list.
