Who Is Playing Sick New World Texas?

System of a Down and Deftones top the bill. Other acts include:

• AFI
• Evanescence
• Knocked Loose
• Marilyn Manson
• Mastodon
• Underoath
• Ministry
• The Prodigy
• Power Trip
• Kittie
• Poison the Well

Slayer is on the lineup too, per Knotfest. Live Nation's event page snippet didn't list them, but it looked incomplete, so we trust Knotfest and the Live Nation press release.

What Will Slayer Play at Sick New World Texas?

Slayer will play Reign in Blood in full, for the album's 40th anniversary. That part is confirmed.

No setlists have been released for any act. Our guess is that Slayer plays the album front to back, since that's what "in full" means. Everything else about the night is a guess too.

Why Does the First Texas Edition Matter?

Texas is Sick New World's first expansion outside Las Vegas. System of a Down and Deftones are the pair chosen to open it.

Sources conflict on whether System of a Down also headlines Las Vegas. This post covers Texas only, where it's confirmed.
