Gerard Way Hollywood Bowl: Dates, Openers, Setlist Guesses

Q: Are these the last Black Parade 2026 shows?

Yes, the shows are billed as the final dates of the band's Black Parade 2026 tour.

Gerard Way is playing the Hollywood Bowl on Friday, October 30 and Saturday, October 31, 2026, but not as a solo act. These are My Chemical Romance shows, and they're just days away. Here's the dates, who opens each night, and what to expect.

When Is Gerard Way at the Hollywood Bowl?

Both nights are in Los Angeles at the Hollywood Bowl.

Friday, October 30, 2026: Devil's Night, with The Used as special guest.
Saturday, October 31, 2026: the Halloween show, with Thrice as special guest.

Check the Hollywood Bowl site or Ticketmaster for tickets and the latest details.

Who Opens for My Chemical Romance at the Hollywood Bowl?

The Used open Devil's Night. Thrice open the Halloween show.

If you're going on one night only, that's the difference between the two. The rest of the plan for each night hasn't been shared.

My Chemical Romance Hollywood Bowl Setlist: Our Guesses

No Hollywood Bowl setlist has been released. Everything below is a guess.

The best clue is a July 2026 show at Wembley Stadium on this tour. There, the band opened with "The End." and closed with "Helena." They also played "Honey" and a "Jack The Ripper" cover.

We think the Hollywood Bowl nights could look similar. That's not confirmed, and the band may change things up for Halloween.

Why Is a Five-Night Hollywood Bowl Run a Record?

The Halloween weekend shows were added to earlier dates on October 21, 23 and 24. They were announced in November 2025. With the two new nights, My Chemical Romance became the first band to play five nights in a single run at the Hollywood Bowl.

The shows are listed as the final dates of the band's Black Parade 2026 tour. So this is the end of the road for this run.

Coverage of the October shows described heavy production, with pyro, lasers and lights. KTLA also reported that Way told the crowd the band had only a couple of weeks to put the shows together. (More: Slipknot's new single "Arsenal".)

KTLA also said Way's dad hinted at new music. Nothing about new music is confirmed.

Why Does "Welcome to the Black Parade" Matter?

The "Welcome to the Black Parade" video has passed 300 million YouTube views, according to a report on the video. That's a big reason these shows feel like such a moment.

It's a song fans have grown up with, and a Halloween crowd will likely sing every word. (More: Nirvana's Video Vanguard Award.)
