What Is The Encore?
The Encore is a new version of The Life of a Showgirl, Taylor's 12th album. It keeps all 12 original songs and adds 4 new ones, for 16 songs total.
Taylor wrote the new songs in Sweden with Max Martin and Shellback, the same two producers who made the original album.
When Does The Encore Come Out?
Friday, September 25, 2026. Depending on where you live, it may show up on streaming apps on Thursday night. You can pre-save it on Apple Music and other apps now.
There are also 3 collector's edition CDs with acoustic and piano versions of the songs.

Taylor dropped hints first, like she always does. She swapped the letter "O" for zeros in her social media bios and posted four zero emojis: 0️⃣0️⃣0️⃣0️⃣. Fans spent hours guessing what it meant. The answer turned out to be 4 new songs, led by "Patient Zero."
