Who Else Is Performing on SNL This Season?

Bridgers is part of a busy run of Season 52 shows. Here's the lineup around her:

Oct. 31: Inde Navarrette hosts, with Gracie Abrams as musical guest.
Nov. 7: Druski hosts, with The Strokes as musical guest.
Nov. 14: John Mulaney hosts, with Phoebe Bridgers as musical guest.

TheWrap says this is Mulaney's seventh time hosting. Stereogum says he last hosted in 2020, the last time The Strokes were on the show.

Spin ties his return to his Mister Whatever tour and Prime Video's Madden.

The musical guest plays two songs, and sometimes shows up in sketches too. (More: KATSEYE's SNL night, explained.)

What Did Phoebe Bridgers Play on SNL Before?

Her solo SNL debut came in February 2021, with Dan Levy hosting. She played "Kyoto" and "I Know the End," both from Punisher.

She ended "I Know the End" by smashing her guitar on an onstage monitor. Some outlets have dated that night differently, but NPR, ET and AOL all place it in 2021.

She was back in November 2023 with boygenius. The group played "Not Strong Enough" and "Satanist" on Nov. 11.

That night also had a sketch with host Timothée Chalamet. It was the first SNL appearance for Lucy Dacus and Julien Baker.

Phoebe Bridgers SNL Songs: Our Setlist Guesses

No setlist has been announced. These are just guesses, based on her past SNL sets and her current tour.

A song from Lost Weekend. It's her newest album, so a single from it feels likely.
A Punisher favorite. "Kyoto" and "I Know the End" worked on SNL before. A fan-favorite from that album could return.

Nothing about her song picks is confirmed. We'll update this post if NBC shares more.

Will Phoebe Bridgers Smash a Guitar Again?

The 2021 guitar smash is still the moment most people remember. It's also why fans keep asking about it.

We have no word on whether it will happen again. Our guess is that she'll do something different, but that's only a guess.

Can Lost Weekend and John Mulaney Shape the Night?

Stereogum says Lost Weekend is her third album. Her arena tour is phone-free, so a TV set may be one of the few ways to see her on a screen right now.

Mulaney as host also brings some fun. The 2023 boygenius night had a sketch with its host, so a Bridgers cameo is possible. That is a guess, and nothing has been announced.
