Fisher & Chris Lake Head Trip 2026 Set: Full Recap

Fisher and Chris Lake played their Under Construction b2b set at Head Trip 2026 on Saturday, October 10, 2026, at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California. Storm Rachel cut the set short, but not before they made it through 31 tracked songs. Here's every track they played, the exact moment the music stopped, and why this incomplete set is already one of the most talked-about performances of 2026.

Watch Fisher and Chris Most Hyped Moment At Head Trip 2026

The Head Trip set was livestreamed on Apple Music, Twitch, and YouTube during the event. If you missed the stream, the 2023 Coachella set above is the closest look at what Under Construction sounds like when the night goes as planned.

How Fisher and Chris Lake Built the Under Construction Project

Under Construction is a b2b project built around improvisation. FISHER and Chris Lake play back-to-back, trading records from both their catalogs, dropping unreleased music, and weaving in rave references in real time. There is no fixed setlist. No two shows are the same.

Head Trip 2026 was billed by Goldenvoice as a one-time-only festival. One stage. No overlapping sets. Every person on the grounds watched the same show at the same time.

The Under Construction slot sat between Peggy Gou b2b Four Tet and headliner Calvin Harris. (More: how the Peggy Gou and Four Tet b2b unfolded right before Under Construction took the stage.)

31 Tracks, 6 IDs: The Under Construction Head Trip Setlist

The tracklist log documents 31 total entries: 25 identified tracks and 6 IDs. Those 6 IDs may be unreleased edits, new material, or tracks that simply weren't tagged in time. One source cited 33 tracks; we're going with 31 from 1001tracklists, which is the specialist record for this kind of logging.

Confirmed highlights from the set:

• FISHER's "Losing It (ID Remix)"
• FISHER's "Stop It"
• FISHER's "Rain"
• Chris Lake's "In The Yuma"
• Chris Lake's "House Every Weekend"
• Chris Lake's "Long Jacket"

The rest of the list blended both artists' catalogs across a set that was still building when the night ended.

Why a Lightning Strike Made This the Most Talked-About Set of Head Trip 2026

The set was scheduled to begin at 9:10 p.m. PT. A lightning warning from storm Rachel forced the venue to evacuate around 9 p.m. PT. The music stopped mid-track: the last song playing when the crowd was cleared was Chris Lake's 2022 track "Turn off the Lights."

Organizers confirmed the entire Day 1 would not resume. No makeup slot for FISHER and Chris Lake was announced for Day 2. Their Head Trip set remains unfinished.

Head Trip was a one-time-only event. There's no second slot built into the schedule. The 31 tracks played in Indio are, for now, everything that exists of Under Construction at Head Trip 2026.
