Why Is Martin Garrix's Album Called Marty?
Rolling Stone says the title comes from Garrix's first DJ alias. So the album is named after where he started.
Rolling Stone also calls MARTY his "debut" album, 13 years in the making. DJ Mag calls it his second album under his own name. His first full-length album under his own name was Sentio, released in 2022.
Is Martin Garrix's Album Delayed Until 2027?
Yes, it looks that way. DJ Mag says the album was first slated for late 2026, so the date has moved back.
It has slipped before. In June 2025, he said his next album was expected in early 2026, with no title or date. We haven't seen a reason for the delay in any report.
Are Madonna, U2, and Ed Sheeran on Martin Garrix's Marty?
Rolling Stone's headline links the album to Madonna, U2, and Ed Sheeran.
Two of those names have history with him. He and Madonna released "Bizarre," and he and Ed Sheeran released "Repeat It." We found no past Garrix song with U2.

What Else Has Martin Garrix Released Lately?
