• "Addicted": October
• "Sun Showers": announced, no release date yet

What Sun Showers Is For

The song is made for the third Angry Birds movie. Paramount is releasing it in theaters, in association with Rovio.

John Rice directs, and Thurop Van Orman wrote the screenplay. Jason Sudeikis, Josh Gad, Rachel Bloom and Danny McBride return as voices, joined by new cast members including Emma Myers and Keke Palmer.

How the Song Sounds, in JISOO's Words

JISOO described "Sun Showers" as a fun, feel-good track. She said it fits the film's playful, bright energy.

The cover art shows Shumon, a small dustball character she drew in middle school. That's a personal touch for a movie song.

What Has Not Been Announced Yet

The reports we found give no release date for the song itself. We also haven't seen a tracklist or an album tied to it.

Here's a guess, and it isn't confirmed: the song could arrive around the trailer, since both are tied together.

The film's own date has also moved around. Recent reports point to December 23, 2026, while earlier announcements listed other dates, including January 29, 2027. Check Paramount's page for the final word.

Where to Follow the Film's Music News

Heitor Pereira, who scored the earlier films, is returning as composer. So the movie's music has a familiar sound, with JISOO's song added on top.
